This new conference facility for the city has a Multi-media center and theatre, a 14,500 sq. ft. ballroom that divides into 8 sections, a four section exhibition hall/showroom with 58,000 sq. ft. of floor area, and 12 additional meeting rooms.
As part of the exposition and conference center built for the city of Santa Clara, the Forum was meant to serve several masters. For the business community, the Forum was designed to function as a stand-alone multi-media corporate meeting and training facility. For teh balance of the community, the Forum serves as both an "inservice" teacher training space and as a music recital hall. As a part of the Center it serves as the presentation- and theatre- style seating auditorium. This combination theatre/recital hall/auditorium serves performing artists but is also equipped with the latest interactive teaching and presentation tools controlled from a "space-age" style control room at the rear of the audience chamber.
